+It was like having your own ny apartment just steps from everything! We have stayed at several other trendy 4 star hotels in the area and this was far better than any of those! As a plus they offered Free computer/printer/internet use. Our apartment was huge and was modern and stylish as well! We will be bringing our 3 girls to ny and will stay here again!

home away from home The hotel suite was very clean, roomy and nicely decorated with a modern touch. The hotel is located off the beaten path, but centerally located to markets and restaurants. It is in walking distance to most attractions. The staff was very friendly and most helpful. If you want to take advantage of the free breakfast(apples and a few pastries) you will need to get there early... It goes quick. If we ever return to NYC we will make resservations at one of the AKA properties.

Absolutely LOVED it I travel to NYC a lot for business. I am willing to pay more for a quality room and property but don't like to pay for a tiny closet of a room w/ services I'll never use. This was the best property I've stayed at in a long time. The apartement setting was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Though there was construction outside, I was still able to relax. I loved that I was able to store healthy food in my subzero fridge (that I purchased from the nearby market in Grand Central). No greasy overpriced room service! It was like I lived in NY again only in a better apartment than when I left!

+I like staying somewhere that feels like a home away from home. The apartment styled amenities that AKA offers is perfect for business travellers, or those who prefer to cater to themselves. You could cook a meal and have friends over to your's while staying abroad. The bed was so comfortable that I almost missed a meeting, and it was nice having an office area set up so that you can do one thing and a partner could do another.
