Affinia 50

We enjoyed the room very much because it had ample amount of space like a small apartment, the bed was very very comfortable and we really slept good. The area was convenient to shopping area etc.

Affinia 50 was a wonderful choice for our New Year's Eve stay in NY. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. Lots of mirrors and light in the bathroom for flawless holiday makeup application! 2 full length mirrors in the room to make sure everyone looked their best. The beds were very comfortable and room nice and quiet for optimum sleep. The Staff was very friendly and helpful, responding to every request or question we had with a smile! Can't wait for my next stay.

Wonderful Stay Affinia 50 was the perfect place to stay in Midtown. The staff was friendly and professional. We arrived earlier than normal check-in so they stored our bags for us and called when the room was ready. The suite itself was very large with two comfortable beds. Nothing but nice things to say about it.

My two daughters and I stayed the weekend before Christmas 2004 to do our first "all girls trip" and we had a great time. Hotel was great, but a little pricey. Staff was awesome and we were very grateful to get our room back when we got snowed in for two more days ... most of the city is booked solid during that week! We plan to stay here for all future trips.

We surprised our daughters with their first trip to New York. While we were on a budget we wanted it to be special. The Affinia 50 made it just that. The staff was extremely helpful and personable. We got in early so they held our bags while we went walking about. The desk clerk was very helpful in getting us into our room a little early as we had tickets to the theater at 3:00. The doormen recommended the diner a half block away, it has good food and quick service. The Affinia is close to Rockefeller Center, Radio City, some shopping and Grand Central if you need to get the subway. The queen suite was great for 4 people. Beds were really comfortable and the kitchen was handy. comments about the small bathrooms are negligible. It really wasn't that small...how many people need to be in there at one time anyway? We really enjoyed our stay and will go back if we get the chance.

+Building is not so high, having a ballcony is a good value, the location is good, hotel is safe enough

Great hotel for comfort and location. Recommend the food/walking tour in Greenwich Village.

Located in midtown, it was close enough to walk to the tourist attractions without encountering all the noise and traffic associated with hotels near Times Square/Broadway. It is located near subway stops, on a bus line, and with frequent taxi traffic. We had not problem getting where we were going. Lots of restaurants just around the corner. We have 4 women in our room - and everyone said it was the best NY hotel they had been in. Comfy beds, room for all our luggage, and even a pillow menu.
