Interview Trail I had several residency interviews in Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island. The Adria was well located for easy access to the highways and public transportation. The neigborhood was safe to walk around at night. The building looks old but the room bathrooms were newly renovated. Though small overall, the room size was adequate and the rooms clean. It was relatively inexpensive, good value. The worse thing is the cigarette smoke the permeates the hallways. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are not well seperated apart. The best thing is the complimentary wireless internet connection.

Clean and reasonable This hotel was better than expected. For the price and it being NY didnt know what to expect. When pulling up in front of hotel and the sign being half lit I thought OH NO. But once inside the staff were more than pleasant and helpful. When getting to the room it was very clean. This is a old hotel with somewhat outdated furniture but still clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely stay again.

Just Okay I visit Flushing/Bayside area at least once a month, and this was the first time I stayed at the Adria. I was not impressed. I felt like I was just at a roadside motel. The parking is horrible and not accessible to the hotel without walking a distance to the front of the building. If you are looking for just a roadside hotel this is your place.

not a good choice I had to stay one night at this hotel since the US Open Tennis Final was moved to Monday and I only got reservation at the Marriot LaGuardia until Sunday, this was supposed to be a 3 stars hotel, I would say it is a 2 stars hotel, you get what you pay for!

Middle of the road The hotel was clean and the rooms were being renovated so my bathroom was new but my colleagues' were not. The parking deck has one of those "not responsible for damage signs" so when my friend's car got a broken window from something that fell out of a room window above he had no recourse from the hotel. Other than that it was fine though I prefer more for the price.

Convenient location and reasonable value There are no bells and whistles at the Adria, but the room I had was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. The complimentary breakfast provided there is quite good. I have stayed at the Adria twice and find its location is good because I can access the subway easily to go into Manhattan and also get to the highways for destinations on Long Island. The staff there is friendly and eager to please. The one thing that they need to improve on at the Adria is cleanliness for their bathrooms in the lobby area. Other than that, I was satisfied with the hotel and I will visit the Adria again.

Pleasant surprise! My wife and I had to go to NYC for a wedding. We searched for a place to stay near our friends and found this place. We just needed a place to stay, with nothing fancy. We were extremely surprised in how clean the place was. The bathroom was spotless. This place was even cleaner than a 5 star place I stay at in Manhattan every year for business. Everything else was typical of a standard hotel room. Room did come with a good size fridge, which was a bonus. Would stay there again.
