Hotel was old and tired. Hot water a problem, staff was overwhelmed! Lots of little issues, it needs a big renovation.

Age of hotel shows through in musty smell and byzantine hallways. Did not like mafia-like valet parking rules and gratuity added at pool tiki bar. Front desk staff was helpful and accommodating.

Have stayed at this hotel several times even before it rebadged as Holiday Inn. It has a nice pool and is right on the beach (its main asset) and it is a bonus if you can get a sea view ! Rooms quite a good size. There is not much to 'do' nearby as regards restaurants or shops , other than nearby hotels. BUT it is only about $8 to $10 taxi ride to Lincoln Mall (or a good 30 plus minutes walk which is OK) and the bars and shops so quite nice to have an option away from the hub of down town Miami Beach. On a handy bus route as well !! Will go back for sure

This hotel was very expensive for what it had to offer. Nice lobby, but rooms leave a lot to be desired for. We had water leaking in through the ceiling, and a broken shower, and our TV wasn't working properly, and when we spoke to them about it, they said we have to wait until the morning to have all fixed.

I would not recommend this hotel if you have a car! Service is very poor. If it wasn't near the beach it realy wouldn't have anything going for it.

The Holiday Inn at Miami Beach is a beautiful and comfortable hotel. You are only steps from the beach. The pool area is very tropical. I loved the outside Tiki bar! Very relaxing! We were just minutes from South Beach and shopping. My family and I had a GREAT time!
