A list of the biggest hotels in Las Vegas reads like a guide to the most infamous hotels in the world: the Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Circus Circus, the Mirage. In Sin City a hotel is never just a place to sleep for the night – this is the place of the biggest and best themes. The Mirage has a volcano that erupts every night. At the "Tuscan-style" Bellagio a huge lake contains 1,000 fountains that dance in time to music. The Luxor is shaped like a pyramid and the Paris, Las Vegas is a replica of 1920s Paris, complete with the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. Whichever of the many Las Vegas hotels you stay in, a trip to Vegas wouldn't be complete without visiting at least the lobby of some of the other famous ones. After all, this is a city where the hotels form part of the sightseeing list.
