There is a great range of hotels in Boston, though primarily they do cater to top-end and business travellers. Some of the most popular places to stay are Back Bay, Beacon Hill, downtown and the harbour front. Fashionable Newbury Street – popular for its shops, galleries and restaurants – is the location for many glamorous hotels. The Ritz-Carlton has a branch here and also one on Boston Common. There are a number of large, exclusive hotels around the harbour, all with fantastic views. Downtown is a cluster of more anonymous, mid-range hotels.
