Just Fine Don't eat at the buffet in the restaurant downstairs. It's not very good and way overpriced.

Wonderful staff, close to many amenities Just up the road on westminster towards Knight St, make sure to hit the Sanduz winery, voted best in Canada. Excellent typical wines along with a great selection of fruit wines and fruit preserves.

OK for Overnight Stay This was a one night stay on return to Toronto so we were really only looking for a clean/comfortable room to get a decent night's sleep. The hotel is under going renovations and the front door/check in area has been moved around to the back/side?? of hotel. Not a problem except that when we pulled up no one came out to get the luggage even after sitting there for 4-5 min. We did get someone after parking and asking to have the luggage brought in. There was complmentary lemonade and cookies at the front door, a nice touch I thought. The room was ok, however as a supposedly "non smoking" room it did smell of cigarette smoke and upon further inspection I found a small, sand filled pail on the balcony so can only assume this was there to accommodate those who wished to step out the balcony for a smoke. Also were given a room on the 2nd floor and there was some noise migration from below. Had we been staying longer I would have requested a move to another room on a higher floor. We had dinner and breakfast there and both were acceptable. I thought $3.25 for coffee at breakfast was a bit much but again I guess you could have had a free one in the room. Overall, for what we paid the hotel was OK.

Great hotel, great location! Use the public transportation, the people at the front desk told us the best way to get around was to buy a day pass and you can travel all over. It's good for the bus, skytrain and the seabus. We enjoyed it very much.

Unfortunate During the 9 days of my stay, I experienced 1) no water supply in the room, 2) the elevator was out of service for the weekend. However, the front desk had been kind to us and offered me 1 breakfast buffet coupon for compensation (I wised to have two though.) At the moment, the Hotel is also under renovation, and it is also not very convenient to move around the Hotel because the several towers are not connected.

Under Construction I had stayed here before and was pleased to find a good deal on Expedia. When we arrived, we found the hotel under construction, which made it inconvenient to get to the rooms. In addition, the front desk only had me staying 1 night instead of the 2 that I had prepaid for, and had to call me later to confirm that I was indeed going to be staying 2 nights. Parking is an extra $11.

Hotel looks old, and under construction If you like Chinese food, there is a lot around, I enjoyed it.

Satisfied Hotel has coin-operated lanudry and dryer which is great for people who brought limited clothes. Refrigerators and microwave in our room enable us to store groceries (juices/milk/fruits) and take-out food which saves us money. Hotel room is cleaned daily by respectful staff. Hotel was close to where we need to go for business and leisure. For business, the hotel was close to banks while for leisure, it was close to shopping malls (Richmond Centre) and lots of restaurants nearby. Various tour companies from Downtown Vancouver also offer passenger pick-ups and drop-offs at this Hotel which adds great value. 24hr Airport pick-up and drop-off is available and offers flexibility in our arrival/departure plans. We will want to stay here again in our next Vancouver visit.

Average hotel, friendly staff For those of you with a rental car, be aware that we had to pay an extra daily parking charge that was added to our bill.
