location is this hotel's greateast asset. The rooms and breakfast are adequate. The shared bathroom facilities are often dirty.

The Wellington is more of a hostel than a hotel (and since it is an ex and unmodified student hall of residence that is really what it is). The rooms are tired and basic. Breakfast is reminiscent of being in a boarding school ! You might not find anywhere cheaper in central London, but if you're coming from overseas you need to know that the price you pay here would get you a much better hotel in Barcelona, Paris, Venice,...

cheap hotel well located if you like to spend your money on things other than hotels you can save a lot but if you want a regular hotel experience with private bath this is not for you.

You get what you pay for here. Positives: It was cheap, and if you just need a low cost clean comfortable bed to sleep in, then this place is OK. Location was great. Not too far to walk to Victoria Station, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Westminster Cathedral, Parliament/Big Ben and London Eye. No traffic noise to worry about. Staff were very courteous. Negatives: No Internet to rooms - just one computer near office and often a line up waiting to get on. You pay at reception per 30 mins. No toilet or shower in room. No remote for the TV. Carpet was peeling off floor in middle of room. Room was shabby looking overall, but appeared fairly clean. No elevator. I looked at what was on offer for breakfast and walked out and ate somewhere else. If I had known what this place was like, I just might have paid more for somewhere else.

You get what you pay for. Although the hotel was slightly above a stay at a hostel; you get what you pay for. The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. While I stayed only one night, the condition and service was alot better than an equivalent hotel I reserved during the same trip.

Not all that impressed Do not stay here: If you do, there is a lovely restaurant on the main street, just past the traffic lights on the corner.

Youth hostel There was no personal bathroom. The public bathroom was not clean. It was very noisy at night. No hotel staff controlled the noise. No hair drier. No iron.

Good location. thats all. I suppose for the price it was decent enough. The room was very basic, with a long way to use the bathroom. It seems to be some sort of converted hospital or army barracks. Breakfast was served for just one hour a day and to be honest, frankly not worth the effort.I have actually stayed in better hostels than this hotel.

Basic accomodation in a first-class location! Finding the hotel was tricky at first. You're at Vincent Square, coming from Rochester Row, and wonder where the entrance is. Just take the first turn to the right, and soon you'll find the entrance.
