Review of Victoria Inn Nice clean hotel, easy to find, within walking distance of Victoria Station, and quiant shops. Our Shower did not work at first, but it was repaired right away.

The room was extremely small and the bathroom and shower were like some kind of prefab porta-potty... but the staff was very pleasant. One of the front desk staff loaned us his umbrella when it started to pour just as we were leaving the hotel for dinner. Overall though, due to the lack of space in the room and the strange bathroom, I probably would not stay in this hotel again.

Pretty good This hotel was fine for what we needed. As Americans, however, we were surprised by the small size of the bathroom. I think this must be common in London hotels however. It was clean and the front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was fairly convenient. We could walk to an Underground stop or catch a bus only a block away. The area was mostly hotels and fairly quiet. The lobby computer for checking e-mail was a fair price.

We did not appreciate having to make our own breakfast from start to finish in the morning. Also the coffee was the only thing that was available hot,as there was not a cooked breakfast available. The lift was hardly ever available in the morning due to the cleaners which was a big problem due to my partner being pregnant.

Not what I expected from internet site Being a London Cheap Hotel I didn’t really expect any more than we got. What I was disappointed in was the distance from the Victoria Station. What as advertised as a 6-7 minute walk was more than double that. Of course the room was small and the bathroom was less than what you’d get in a motor home but they were both clean. The help was both good and bad depending on who was on at the time. The gentleman on in the evenings was very helpful and friendly. The lady on during the day was not very helpful and was more concerned with tending her baby than helping a guest at the hotel. Probably will not stay here again.

In relation with the others hothels where I staied before in London, this hothel has a good rate between price/quality and type of service. You must walk only 15 minutes from Victoria Coach Station. The nearest underground station is Pilimco, 5 minutes to

Good location, but that’s about it The service was good. However, expect a small room with little to offer but a place to sleep. There’s a bus stop close by (which is good), and it is very close to the Victoria Station (Coach and Train), so that you can go anywhere you’d like. If you don’t expect much from a hotel, and plan to fill your day with activities, this is the place for you. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks Get an Oyster Card for transportation; it is definitely worth it. If you’re willing to ride on nothing but buses, your daily individual transportation expense will be no more than about 3 pounds. Also, make sure you have a British adapter plug for your electrical appliances, and a transformer if you’re devices don’t run at 220V.
