Location excellent We decided to stay at the Grosvenor for our final night in London. The location was great for train, bus and sightseeing. Directly outside the hotel was rather hectic with pedestrian traffic, due to a bus stop just outside the hotel and movement between the rail and bus stations. Staff were briliant friendly and helpful, breakfast was good with plenty of choices, and the downstairs of the hotel is very swish, however upstairs is looking rather tired and in need of a refurbishment. Our room was comfortable but as it faced the street it was noisy once the window was open and as there was a lack of air-con we needed the window open. The bathroom could have been cleaner and there were a few too many cracked tiles. BUT the shower was nice and hot and a good flow of water, and the bed was comfy. Certainly consider staying at the Grosvenor but be aware that its not the hotel it used to be, my partner suggested that it was trading on a past reputation.

The hotel was above the Victoria train and tube station which was very convenient for us. The concierge were very helpful, except for having our refrigerator fixed. The room was fairly spacious for a European room and it was comfortable.

great Spent a few days here for our 32nd wedd. aniv. Ideal for all sights and places to go things to do.Right in the middle of Westminster, so handy for everything. I love London, so I will probably go back here next time I visit. From the train station you can access the hotel without setting foot outside(although it is just round the corner)
