Good location, small room, staff and cleanliness OK but not great. If you need to be in that neighbourhood it's a bargain...

Overall, I was very pleased with the hotel. Though my visit was brief I found the staff to be very helpful and very accomodating. I would like to make particular mention to the help I received from David, the conceirge, who was most informative and very helpful both proir to and during my stay. I was slightly disappointed with the size of the 'Deluxe Room' (I stayed in Room 609) I feel that the bed in the room most certainly wasn't a King-Size, as had been described, but I also feel that this had little bearing on my overall feeling of the hotel. (If possible, I would very much like someone to confirm whether or not Room 609 is in fact a deluxe room. In honesty I would suspect that I was given a standard room.) Breakfast was satisfactory, the restaurant area was very comfortable and the service staff were again very accomodating. I feel that arriving towards the end of breakfast had a bearing on the selection on offer but fully accept that this would be normal and, again, the service of the staff and general comfort of the surroundings more than made up for there only being 1 box of Rice Krispies available. I found the Room Service to be very efficient. I found the movie selection more than adequate (although I didn't purchase any movies myself) In conclusion, I would definately consider staying at your hotel again. The kind service of the staff, the pleasant decor and comfortable surroundings will certainly be in the fore-front of my mind when suggesting your hotel to my friends

We asked before making the reservation if they had a meeting room avaliable for a few hours. The hotel told us that they could arrange something and it would be free of charge. When we should use the room they told us that we had to go to a different hotel down the street, and we had to pay a quite high rate for using a bar facility in less that an hour.

Thistle Piccadilly Hotel is ideal situated near Covent garden, Soho, Chinatown etc. Prce is OK compared to what you get, very good location, good service, exp. very good sevice in in breakfastroom. A relatively expencive Breakfast not included; (that can be a minus). I would like to visit this hotel next time in London. Lars Iversen, Norway

I could not have asked for a more convenient location. The hotel is situated between Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square. Close by are Chinatown, Old Compton Street, the National Gallery, the bookstores on Charing Cross Road, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square. . .you get the picture. Just a bit further, but still in walking distance is Buckingham Palace.

We would use this hotel again, but only because of the location. Also, would only recommend the hotel for the location, not the hotel itself. Your hotel information needs to state clearly that deluxe rooms are all non-smoking.

clean but basic There is car park right next door. The Theatres, China Town, piccadilly and Traffalga Square are about 2 min walk, there is plenty of places to eat out. In fact the location of this hotel is spot on.
