Thistle City Barbican Hotel London

Room was large but furnishings tired, faded and some stains on the walls, not my idea of a 3 star hotel at 144 pounds sterling a night. Staff were very helpful and polite, problems were dealt with promptly. Good location for the Barbican but don't walk alone late at night, get a taxi.

+ Central location, excellent staff attitude adn friendliness - I have ticked good in all the boxes as I have said above.

Shower terrible, hotel ok Check in was a non-event, the girl didn't smile once. I cannot remember if she was polite. The hotel was a bit of a maze, room was difficult to find. The room itself appeared ok, no airconditioning, the showeer and bathroom were outdated. Showeer TERRIBLE! Water rpessure was non-existent, I wonder how people even get showered here...I will never stay here again. Requests for extra towel and shower gel were not fulfilled.

The hotel makes more the impression of a better youth hostel than a place for business men, wanted to stay for one night in London.

Good value hotel , just a bit far from underground for my liking Friendly staff, good sized room. Took about 15 minutes from Underground which might prevent me from stopping here in future

Awful hotel, bad service, facilities in the room do not work ( Iron, Internet, air conditioning). Hotel is poorly located especially for business travelers. By no means is this a 4 star hotel, staff does not know what it mean to service guests.

The overall atmosphere is pleasant and staff were friendly. The bathroom had numerous problems with it from dripping water taps to leaking shower hoses.

This hotel was indicated as a three star and was really a 1.5 star. You could hear every word spoken in rooms next to you and above you. We told people we were staying at the Thistle City Garbagecan in the suite. Awful.
