Elegant, charming and romantic. Expensive and the service is a bit below what one would expect at a five star. All in all, a wonderful experience.

The Milestone sets a standard for cleanliness, as well as friendliness of staff. Hotel is ideally suited for those who like to jog, have concerts at the Albert Hall, or simply like to go antique hunting. Also, in my years of visiting London, this is the only hotel I stayed at for an extended period of time that didn't suffer a lift breakdown. It was great having Kensington Gardens right across the street. Excellent breakfast and a memorably great bar. Nice restaurants in the area; Zaika, which is a 30 second walk away, is world class.

The place just appealed to me because of its style and location. I would strongly recomend it to anybody who likes the classic style of arcitecture and history of the buildings.

My husband and I are from the US and chose this hotel for our first stay the UK. It is a really nice hotel, lots of special touches, beautiful decor, and great service. However, we did feel a bit on the younger side; Being in our late twenties, most other guests seemed to be over 50. But it didn't bother us in the least. The hotel was everything we had hoped for. The only drawback was that we felt a little far from some main attractions, but there is a bus stop literally right in front of the hotel so problem solved! I would recommend this to anyone looking for sophisticated elegance and wonderful memories.
