Very good small hotel Don’t be put off by the fact that some rooms have no en-suite loo. All have at least a sink and shower. And the facilities and service are impeccable.

Fine Hotel for the Price No lift and the toilets are in the hallway. But the hotel staff were very ready to carry our bags up. The hallway toilets were very clean, and we never had to wait to use them. Shower in the room--make sure that you’re not shy having your roommate see you shower. Aside from the these small triffles, this hotel was perfect for our stay. Near Russell Square and the British Musuem. Good breakfast. Efficient staff. Excellent value for the price in the best part of London. Traveler's tip on local attractions The British Musuem is around the corner, and it’s free (donations are accepted). The same goes for the National Portrait Gallery and the National Musuem of Art close by at Trafalgar Square. You could spend days at any one of these sites, but together, on a quick trip, they can be sampled in a day. Try the meat pies at the Museum Tavern across from the British Musuem. One is enough for two in expensive London.

It's ok - a cheap place to sleep Go to the British Museum it's a few steps away and even if you the don't like the exhibits, the atrium is worth the trip in itself.

Standard hotel- not so exciting but not so bad The area around the hotel was quiet. The room has adequate size and facilities apart from locating a transparent shower room actuallly inside the bed room without a bath room.

Great Location Hotel is located write next to the British Musuem. Great balance for the price and central location. Toilet was is in the hall, but there was a shower and sink in our room. Does not have air conditioning or a lift. Friendly staff and overall very nice.

Nice stay if you don't mind the stairs and lack of toilet in the room Nice clean hotel, big room, good bed. Very central situation. Rather quiet surroundings. Discrete staff, rather friendly. There is a good shower in the room but no toilet. Two toilets are attributed to every group of a few rooms. No elevator, steep stairs.

What a pleasant surprise This was the largest hotel room in London I have ever stayed in! And it had a lot of character. The staff were exceptionally friendly, too! If you don't mind not having an ensuite toilet (and I really didn't) this hotel is a perfect choice!
