The rooms are comfortable and of a very good standard for Three Star London, all equipped with mini bar and PLAY STATION!!!!. Very clean aswell, which I think we all like in a hotel. Very good facilities including gym and 18 metre swimming pool for hotel guests (£5 per per person per stay) and discounts off Spa treaments. Carvery from £9 and its own pub-like bar which has pool table and various games. Even its own garden-ideal for sunny days. Overall, at rates between £65 and £89 per double room, in this location (seconds from great shopping in Kensington High Street) it is well worth a stay.

The hotel was in a good location and adequate, however, I felt that breakfast should have been included in the price. When we arrived we were told that we were being upgraded. If this was the case then I do not think that I would have liked the room we should have been in.There was no hairdrier as stated, the safe did not work and the swipe key was very poor.

Great Location My husband and I just came back from a trip to Europe. We started in Barcelona and after went to Amsterdam. No plans to go to London, since we were just there in July. We missed our flight from Amsterdam back home and we had to buy a brand new tkt and the best way was to fly onto London and since London is such a wonderful city, we decided to saty for a couple of days. We found this great Hotel and it was perfect. The location is great with a tube 3 mins away from the hotel. The room was very small but "what are you doing in the room"? You should be sightseeing anyway...The hotel has a couple of good restaurants and a charming bar with flat tvs all around. The concierge people were very helpfull and the ladies from the front desk did a great job helping us with our last minute reservation.Kesington and Hyde park are just around the corner...If you never been to London and decide to stay at this hotel, make sure to look for the "ROOF TOP GARDEN". The ONLY roof top garden in London. AMAZING!!!! Check out the hotel....Cannot beat the price, location, and friendly faces :) Traveler's tip on local attractions Kensington and Hyde Parks, Roof Top Garden, London Walks....

Poor service The hotel seemed to have plenty of staff. We made several requests to the desk staff and to the concierge including an item lost in a room change, and a restaurant booking and were not contacted with a response for any of them. There were often difficulties due to non English speaking staff. We were charged extra to use the pool on each occasion.

Overall impression was positive. Nice hotel in good location just minutes walk from the nearest underground station. Staff were friendly. Hotel was clean. The main problem I had with the hotel was the price of the breakfast - very expensive. So we walked

I have been to London on two separate occasions, and both times have stayed at the Kensington Close hotel. For the room rate, what you get really can't be beat. Make sure when you make reservations to see if it includes access to the health club and to breakfast. They have a large restaurant downstairs that serves traditional english breakfast every morning (the only meal the British get right :) and you'll be hard pressed to find similar anywhere around the neighborhood, with is predominately boutiques, galleries, the park and the palace. there is a McDonalds and an EasyEverything internet cafe right down the street as well, no need to use expensive communications at the hotel.

Rooms really very small. We had to change it after 2 days , because the door was broken from the beginning and nobody came to settle it. Breakfast is not included in the price. Very, very good location. Very close to the hotel there is a small coffee shop

Disappointed Was not impressed with the quality of room and hotel. After few nights stayed in Novotel St. Pancreas, Kensington Close is far from the expectations of Novotel. Despite it all, location of the hotel is good. Very convenient to tube and shopping areas

I chose this hotel because of it's location (High St. Kensington). Nice clean modern rooms but a little small. Hotel has all facilities including a spa.

We enjoyed our stay in London while at the Kensington Close Hotel.A very clean and efficiently run establishment. The staff was very helpful and courteous to our needs, with first class treatment given while dinning in their restaurant. We look forward to staying at the Kensington Close Hotel again upon our next visit to London. Thank you again for a most pleasurable visit.

Overall impression was positive. Nice hotel in good location just minutes walk from the nearest underground station. Staff were friendly. Hotel was clean. The main problem I had with the hotel was the price of the breakfast - very expensive. So we walked to a nearby cafe instead. In addition, the room was a little small, but it was clean.
