It's what you'd expect for the money, I've stayed here before & would again. Bit noisy though.

Based on being located in London the price and hotel was a bargain. However, in lesser size cities this would be a 2 star not a 3 star hotel. The rooms were well maintained, but needed new carpeting and bed spreads. The bathrooms were clean and well equipped but water pressure in the shower was very poor in the upper floors. First floor room shower pressure was fair. Breakfeast was very good and met the standard of any hotel we've visited in any city or country. The location is close to the subway (Tube) and railway station. The staff were very good and friendly. This hotel is a good base of operations for taking in the many venues in London and then resting up for the next day activities. We would stay in this hotel again.

Good value for money at £79 for a family room midweek. Hotel was generally fine. Not far from Paddington so quite good for getting around. My main complaint is that the shower did not work and there was no plug for the bath! After some arguing and delay the staff agreed to let us use the bathroom from another vacant room. In total there was a delay of 1 hour. Also, reception wouldn't call us a black cab - they tried to get us a private hire car (these are often a rip-off in London as the driver can pay the hotel a kick-back)

arrived at hotel, given key to room and found people in the room. kept standing in hallway for 15 minutes until they found another room. Booked and payed for superior room but got standard for 1st nidht because over booked. Did receive a free breakfast but staff not very helpful overall. The superior room was spacious and tidy but overall this hotel should not be 4 star but 2-3 star, .

We choosed a 4 star hotel, because we know that the English standard are lower than Norwegians. Everything was OK, but you can't compare with a 4 star in Norway.

We had booked and paid for a double room. The room we got quite frankly should not be sold as a double room. The bed was not a full size double and in order to access the bathroom one side of the bed had to be pushed against the wall. Even then, when opening the bathroom door, it hit the side of the bed. A stool serves as a bedside table. We did ask if there might be a slightly larger room available, but were told that all the rooms were the same. I would question this as the website quite clearly shows a larger room. The room on booking was shown as a superior room. I saw nothing superior about the room we were given. That said for the money we paid, and convenience to tube station I guess it could be argued we got what we paid for. However, it would have been much nicer not to have had to climb over my partner every time I wanted to get out of bed !

Perfect location near Paddington. Room filled with beds (4 beds for the four of us) but that made it priceworthy and what was I wanted

This is not a 4 star hotel any longer. The carpets are worn and dirty the bed mattresses are worn out. The staff was nice and helpful, however.

The room was quite dirty, stained carpet and long black hairs all over the blankets in both beds. The included breakfast was very good though. The overall stay was all right yet I would probably not stay here again.
