Great location - very comfortable The Gore is in a great and safe location just off Hyde Park and near shopping and museums. The hotel is very comfortable and the staff is helpful. Avoid the hotel bar when it is busy unless you normally wear earplugs. We could walk everywhere and there is an Underground station just a few minutes away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Decent Hotel with good service This is an older hotel. Not all rooms have bathtubs, only showers. In one room, I could not get hot water and, after speaking to the front desk, was moved efficiently to a 2nd room. Free wi-fi internet access was spotty in the evenings and night. Located right next to Prince Albert hall. But a decent 10 minute walk from the nearest subway (tube) station. Restaurant on location is excellent.

This facility needs to be refreshed urgently! This place needs a serious investment to refresh itself. And I’m talking major work including sewages! Its location is top, the service is impeccable but the building is too old to be able to offer a hotel facility that justifies its prices.

Good Value and Interesting Hotel Very conveniently situated close to parks, shops and tube. Pleasant helpful staff and comfortable bedroom. Elevator only runs to fourth floor - don't stay on the fifth! Impressive bar, though drinks are not cheap! Avoid the dining room late at night, badly cooked and poorly presented expensive food.
