Good Value for the money Definitely one of the better hostels I have stayed at. The staff was all very friendly and the building is well maintained. You cannot find a place this close to everything for a better price. The individual lockers in the rooms are a plus. Be sure to bring your own lock. The walls are very thin and it’s a bit of a party hostel, so expect hearing people running up and down the halls until at least 3am.

Good balance Generator hostel is a nice place to stay if you don’t want to spend too much money on your room and even though being central. It was easy to find, people were nice and uncomplicated. Breakfast and dinner are also offered by the hostel and the price-performance ratio was right.

Never Again We arrived at 2pm for check in to find a rather large queue and only two reception staff. After a wait we were checked in and just as we wer'e leaving the counter the receptionist told us he'd 'forgotten' that there was no hot water leaving us well and truely trapped. When we got to the room the door was jammed open and the room still filthy from the previous occupants. 15mins later a cleaner came and rudely removed us from the room for 30mins untill she had cleaned it. There is also a farsical arrangement of an evening when the front doors are locked leaving guests to enter the hostel by a fire escape and then a maze of corridoors into reception. I could never recomend this place least of all because of the lurid 90s decor.

Disappointed After all the reviews about this hostel, I thought I’d like it. However, there were serious customer service issues for such a basic place to stay. If you want a good experience stay elsewhere. This hostel was not worthy of my money. Traveler's tip for business travelers This. Hostel is close to St. Pancras International. Stay here for easy access to Eurostar. Great for a day trip to Paris.

Excellent for the money This is a hostel and not a hotel, but it was a really good experience, it was not noisy and it was clean. Showers were the only thing that let it down slightly.

Fine for what you’re looking for Was it 5 star? No. But it’s a hostel, and a clean one, and I thought my stay there was fine.

Not Bad although most people ive heard say its a party ostel, i didnt see a whole lot of partying going on-everyone in my room was asleep by midnight. it might also be because i was there in november. anyway, it was quite a nice place and the satff and other guests were very nice.
