The rooms were small but the beds were VERY confortable with down comforters and pillows. The continental breakfast was more than I ever expected - table service and a large selection of foods. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel in nice quiet location across from Kensington Gardens and near Underground station. Staff went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay. Room size was small so suitcases were in the way. That was an annoyance. However, since we spent very...

Town House room was so small that my daughter barely had room to do her morning exercises. The furniture was so cheap, old, scarred and water stained that a thift shop would have rejected it. The linens were only changed once in the week despite...

The room was small compared to U.S. rooms but still was comfortable and furnished nicely. The bathroom was very nice. The only thing is that being that the building is old and not soundproofed well, we could hear people walking above us at all hours...

We visited London for the first time and found a great deal with American Express. They claimed it was a 4-star hotel, however that did not seem to be the case. Though it was a decent location near Hyde Park and about a 15minute walk from the tube (train), it was not worth the effort to stay there. The service was ridiculous in the sense that they would shut off the heat every day, though it was in the 40's, there was trouble with the water system, and the staff was unhelpful. I understand that maybe they are trying to save electricity, however, at least let us know that you shut off the heat every day! The rooms were tiny and not the experience we expected from a 4-star hotel. We were extremely disappointed with our stay at this hotel and would not recommend.

We spent 9 nights at the Commodore in June and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are nice (slightly smaller than we are used to) and very clean. Breakfast was very good with a nice variety and the staff were friendly and helpful when needed....
