Really needs work I stayed 5 days in mid-January. The accommodations are average but suitable and the location excellent. The service however is deplorable. No one engages the guests, and the staff lost a box of my belongings, never found it, and offered no compensation whatsoever. The food at their restaurant is marginal and expensive even for London. The window in my room didn't lock and as such anyone could have entered via the fire escape, and two maintenance workers were gazing in at me as I sat at the desk one morning. The fire door outside the room flutters in the wind all night every night and obviously is in need of attention. Definitely not 5 stars, and an average boutique hotel on their best day. I travel overseas with great frequency and tend to patronize boutique hotels because the service is generally better. Not so at The Colonnade and I won't be back.

Elegant Boutique Hotel A pleasant change from the usual chain hotels, the Collonade has style and comfort, and a warm welcome. It looks good, is nicely situated near Little Venice and an interesting 20 minute walk from Paddington to stretch your legs after the journey. There are restaurants round about and easy access by bus or tube to the rest of London. I'll be back!

Great little hotel with lots of character Not for people who are into big luxury hotels or for some business travelers but I really loved the Colonnade and the rooms were comfy and the staff very friendly. The neighborhood feels a lot less touristy, which I appreciated.
