what’s wrong with housekeeping I stayed at the BW Cromwell for three nights. The room and hotel in general has fabulous design and is in great condition. However, the biggest problem was housekeepers have never changed mugs in my room for the stay. I was pissed!! Anyway, the rest of the staffs did such a great job. They have good attitude and were helpful. I would still recommend this hotel to anyone who visit London.

Good: the location very close to the metro station, the room is very clean, new furniture, new and spacious bathroom, very very nice staff. Bad: very very small room, just space for the bed. Very bad: too much noise from the street (no sound-proof windows).

Good Location, Clean Room with Reasonable Charge Although the sise of the room which we stayed was not large but enough for business or sightseeing stay. This hotel is located within two minutes walk to "Gloucester Road" tube station where you can take both "Circle" and "Piccaddilly"lines. Holiday-Inn Hotel is located within one block distance and you can be picked up there by major sight seeing tour companies. This hotel was remodeled and open in 2008 and you can enjoy clean room with reasonable charge. The most convenient transportation from Heathrow Airport to this hotel was Tube using "Piccadilly Line" (about 40 min.). We stayed there for five nights.

Basement room was not acceptable While the staff was very couteous and nice, and the hotel is well located, the accomodation was not "4 star metro" as the hotel classifies itself. The rooms were extremely small and we were given a room in the basement. Some of the troubles: Rats in the walls (we only heard one) Basement room Unusual Smells (failing water trap) Extreme dust Dampness Cold Room No thermostat When we complained, the hotel said that they were full and that housekeeping had gone for the day so there was "nothing they can do".

Hotel was very close to Gloucester Road tube station with lots of restaurants nearby. Room was brand new, extremely well equipped but also extremely small. Had a double bed but was only big enough for one person for a short stay. Room was on ground floor but not facing onto road. In comparison to rest of room, window was old, wooden frame, didn't close properly, causing noise and security concerns. Overall very satisfied but room very expensive for size.
