My first time in London was quite anadventure so having a hotel centrally located to bunk down at night was seemingly important to me. This hotel for its location to everything you need during your stay (dining, nightlife, theatre, London Tube locations) definitely pays off in the end. Stayed in a single. Room overall was small but clean. Old design windows may not keep room quiet at night. I had a room on 6th floor on a side alley facing away from the Strand and it was still noisey during evening hours.

Great location As my trip was to go to the theatre I found this an excellent location.I walked from Victoria coach station and this took around 30mins but we got to walk past Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square so we got to see some of the sites. I was shocked at how nice and modern the hotel was when we first entered but was abit dissapointed with our room. The bathroom needed a makeover as the tiles looked old and the toilet was stained.Everything esle in the room was fantastic.

This place is a sweet find for a place one does not intend to spend lots of room time in. It is not fancy, but is a real hotel with good amenities, great location, mostly cool staff, yummy English breakfast and tiny rooms. The bathrooms are full sized if cramped, but some of the small single rooms are really pushing comfort. I recommend the hotel and will return there. Remember this is prime real estate so you pay by the square foot, but the comfort and convenience of the Strand Palace is worth it, if you ask me. Cheers. .

We stayed in 3 different rooms during our stay. (Had originally planned on an initial and final two days, but were going to spend middle 4 days in the country.)
