Will not go back Surly reception - demanded passport ( I travel all over the country on business and this is the first time I have had to produce my passport) Room basic but adequate if cramped (extra bed put into what is already a small double room). One sachet of shampoo provided between two people and not replaced during stay. TV new with digital channels.

Basic but very good value in London Not much wardrobe space and would be cramped if you want to use your PC.

Good budget hotel Newly refurbished hotel. Receptionist insisted on a passport although a uk citizen - accepted driving licence as proof of identity. Have never been asked for this before when staying in a UK hotel (stay in hotels approx 35 nights a year)

People need to wait in the steps for having breakfast (very small room for 18 people eating while 60 people in the hotel !). Dont't phone for me to the airport, neither help me, to reserve a shuttle and ask me one pound by mn, using the lobbie phone ! not enough on the bed so we were cold in the night, because of big slides (holes) in the windows) too small "draps" (what we put on the bed to sleep in), almost smaller than the bed ! the door near the bedroom making noise all the night, and the TV in the breakfast room (not pleasfull), near the bedrooms of our children. Oly one chair for a double-room : nothing to put our clothes !!!! and so on..... (too many things to make entire list ...)

Basic Hotel in good location The hotel room we stayed in was quite small and crowded, but it had all the amenities we needed, and was in a great location in Earl's Court; very close to the tube station. If you're looking for just a basic hotel at a cheap rate, this is the place to go.

Not this time I have stayed here before and it was fine, but on my most recent stay I had a 'basement' room and it suffered plumbing problems (toilet)causing smells, plus rubbish was stacked by the outside window again causing smells and noise when it was collected at 06.00.

+ the location and value for money during this busy period - Rooms were very small. Had difficulty putting two suitcases and two back packs on the floor of teh room. Also the shower drain did not work properly and flooded the room a bit.

The price was good, the traffic situation (3 tubes) excellent, the room had no press,no chair, the breakfast was always the same, but the employees were helpfull.
