This looks like a prison on the outside. It has small little windows looking out. The rooms are small too. Most of the hotel has an smell to it. The elevators are slow. There is no internet in the rooms. There is wi-fi to be had in the lobby but they charge way to much for it. And speaking of charges...They charge for the gym too. This place is a joke. I would not stay here again and would suggest that you look elsewhere for a room.

We had a problem with the heater, but they gave us a reserve one very quickly.

The room was small, but provided everything we needed. The service was great for a busy hotel and the buffet breakfast was an outstanding value when included with the price of the room. The location allowed us access to all parts of the city without every having to take a taxi. We had a great stay.

The location of the hotel is excellent and all theatres etc. are within easy reach. The rest of the hotel is basic to poor. The rooms are extremely small (not much like the pictures on the net). They were slightly smelly - the towels were extremely smelly. The bed was vaguely comfortable. The hot water tap in the bathroom did not work at all and any water drained away very slowly. The shower was powerful and quite good. Breakfast was average and the pipes in the drinks machines were dirty so the drinks weren't always fresh. There are vending machines on every even numbered floor but the one on my floor didn't work! The area is generally noisy and the police etc. went screaming passed the hotel day and night. Generally for the price there are much better hotels in London and if it wasn't for the location I wouldn't really have much to say.

Couldn't ask for a better location. Room was spotless, clean towels every day. Was a little worried after reading other reviews but no problems at all. Stayed for three nights from 16th March 2007. Breakfast room was very busy on the Sunday morning, but the hotel was full on Saturday evening so it was expected.
