Had a good stay, the atmosphere was really nice. I loved all the decorations and general feel of the hotel, great care went into making it a special place. The food in the restaurand was great, shame there where not more people/guest eating there. It would also be a nice place to stay in the winter because of all the fire places.

+I liked the general appearance of the hotel. The politeness of the staff i thought was appaling, they seemed to be more interested in business people in suits it appeared. -The politeness of the staff i thought was appaling, they seemed to be more interested in business people in suits it appeared. Also the steam room had not been cleaned for a month and half and was disgusting, my bed was not made properly and we were charged for stuff from the minibar we did not have.

When i booked I said that I would be checking in at 12( I had theatre tickets booked for 2pm), when I arrived I was informed that my room would not be ready until 3pm but I could have an upgrade for a further '15!! The money is not important, it was the fact that I booked to check in at 12 and didn't hear anything to the contrary. The room was great but was very cold and the heating didn't happen. Breakfast was booked and came to the room 20 mins seperately so my breakfast in bed with my wife didn't happen - Wife very unhappy about this!! Rating this hotel I would say 5 out of 10 for the experience based on the quality of the room mainly which was great, the service was not!!

Convenient location and very good service. Eat out! Restaurants start next door - Italian, American, Japanese. Don't need to walk a step further than you want to.
