Not Impressed Perfectly situated to go and see "Wicked" and "Billy Elliot" and has great transport links with Victoria Station. (Go and see Wicked...it's brill!)

good if you plan to be out all day The location is excellent, a few blocks from the Victoria station, it shares a reception desk from another hotel (the Grapevine), you are given one key for the main door (to the outside) and another for your room, our room was on the fourth floor, room had its own bathroom, breakfast is included and it was very good (traditional english breakfast).

Horrible. This is the worst place I have ever stayed. There was mold & mildew all over our shower. Dirty sink all the time. Even after all this had been cleaned. Massive amounts of dust on the wiring by the refidgerator & behind the nightstand. We came into our room with a dirty electric kettle. Holes in the walls & by the electric switches. The beds felt as though they had giant holes in the bottom half of them. There were ants in the breakfast room. I came home sick from the dirt in our room. The staff were not helpful, so we went to another hotel to get help with airport shuttles, etc. Couldn’t find the hotel to begin with. There are other hotels in the area, closer to Victoria station, for the same price which are better. Absolutely would not recommend this hotel.

The smell from the bathroom was awfull. We obtained another better room. In both rooms the carpet and the bathroom were not tidy enough. The name "Sheriff Inn" does not appear anywhere at the address given by venere.com, instead we found "Grapevine Hotel". That was at first quite disturbing when whe arrived there at one in the morning. We have not yet experience any other hotel in London.

The most neglected hotel I have stayed in for many years The room was very small. Not particularly clean and with an air of neglect. Nowhere to hang clothes other than a hanger for a shirt above a work surface and a hook behind the door. Shower/WC extremely small. No plug for wash hand basin. Toilet seat falling off. Broken socket outlet with exposed wiring at side of bed.Didn't stay for breakfast just pleased to get away the next morning.

Central Close to Victoria, perfect starting point for doing sightseeing (and clubbing) in London. Nice, quiet area, friendly staff. Who could be blamed for having to pay that much money for a simple, narrow room, where some sort of bathroom cubicle was incorporated? These are London prices, and one can't expect to get the space and splendid hotel lobby etc. pp. you would get for the same amount of money in Berlin.
