The Hyde Park Paddington Hotel is a 3+ star hotel that is newly refurbished to include all the features our guests demand. Every room is graced with comfortable mood lighting, Internet access, bathrobes on request, night time reading spotlights, daily newspapers, daily fresh flowers in suites, fresh fruit basket, laptop sized secure digital safe, iron, ironing board, digital clock radio, fresh bottled water and complimentary toiletries. The Paddington Hotel Hyde Park is conveniently located in central London to accommodate both the business person and leisure traveler. The Hotel Hyde Park Paddington has stylish furnishings, comfortably sized public areas and a premier restaurant and bar. Most double bedded rooms have king size beds, except for twin rooms, with smooth, huge headboards. Your can relax in the opulent, calming environment of our Premier Bar, open all day for refreshment and offering a wide array of snacks and drinks served with efficiency. The Premium Restaurant serves a healthy, hearty breakfast, American-style snack and lunch options and has a dinner menu featuring home-cooked meals. Hotel critic Harrison Brown found the new refurbishment to be complete and up to good standard, stating it was currently a three star deluxe soon to be officially classed as four star by AA. The somewhat small rooms, featuring broadband access and internet television, are pleasantly furnished in fine fabrics and dark wood. The bathrooms, though small, are of good quality. Rates at the Hyde Park Paddington Hotel are super, with some specials under £50 for double rooms!

Very satisfied I don't know about any other rooms but my room with a double bed was spacious, clean and well equiped. The AC worked fine and was quiet. I only mentioned that the internet didn't seem to work and it seemed that they had changed the cables and fixed it while I was out. I would love to get a similar room. next time in London. Great location. Five minute walk from Paddington Station. Minor point of improvement is that they could use less cleaning fluid and sprays. I had to air out the room a bit each night.

A thoroughly excellent no-frills but comprehensively equipped and spotlessly clean hotel, especially ideal for the business traveller. A real plus was that smoking is absolutely not allowed anywhere within the hotel! The continental breakfast buffet was extensive and also featured lots of fresh fruit. Thoroughly recommended.

Second visit Stayed here my first vsit (March 2008) for great location. Paddington is less than 5 min. away. Came back due to friendly helpful staff and comfortable safe rooms. Women traveling alone will feel very safe. Rooms are small, but all rooms in London are small. Very clean. Ensuite bath and refrigerator. They do have a/c, good this trip! Hot water in the bath takes a while to warm up. Did not eat breakfast at hotel so can’t comment. Will return a third time, hopefully this fall. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay Bring own facecloth - considered too personal an item to supply at hotel. Get a tube map when you land - staff does not know area. (Seasoned puiblic transportation user here!)Get an Oyster card and top off - saved more than using day, 3-day and 7 day passes.

Impressive service level for this price, but problems with wireless internet Very clean, very professional, excellent level of service, so I was pleasantly surprised. Only problem I had was with the wireless internet, but as I was placed in a basement room this could possibly have been the reason. And it was great to only ne 3 minutes from Paddington station which is a 15 minute train ride from Heathrow airport - brilliant!

Very small and noisy rooms The rooms are incredibly dark and noisy -- you can hear people next door and above having conversations. It feels almost like you are sharing a room. Traveler's tip for business travelers Their server doesn’t allow for any VPNs, so it was not possible to get on the network. If you are planning on business communications that require logging into your company’s network, you will have a problem.

good locaton The best thing about this hotel was the location. Great for paddington and great links to all over londonthe room was fine,if a little cramped. The shower wasn't working properly although to be fair it was fixed the next day. All in all not too bad. I'd go back.
