Intimate, unique and very affordable accommodation -part of peaceful privately owned house in the heart of Knightsbridge. Unlike faceless predatory chain hotel - we have charm, character and relaxed atmosphere for which our Clients return.Welcome! Behind that discreet green door lies the cosy, comfortable world of Searcy's Roof Garden Bedrooms, a surprisingly peaceful central London oasis. Awaken to the sound of the hooves of the Household Calvary, breakfast on fresh orange juice, hot croissants, coffee, perhaps a lightly boiled egg. Harrods is in sight, Hyde Park close by, the fashionable designer names in Sloane Street and Knightsbridge, a mere stroll away - all London awaiting to be explored. Each room elegantly, individually designed, the service impeccable, the price considerably less than most nearby hotels, and if much accommodation these days appears bland and impersonal, Searcy's will come as a pleasant surprise. Privately owned and family run, caring, informative staff, convenient closeby secure parking and direct easy access to motorway's, mainline stations and airports - all help make Searcy's somewhat of a sleeping beauty.

+ Staff are helpful and I'd give them extra marks if I could. Breakfast is excellent. Towels are more than enough. Shampoo and body gel are with good quality. - A little bit hard to find the hotel though I brought the map with me. I stayed in a family sui

The treatment of myself and my wife by the young girl on the reception was nothing short of exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she made our stay there a night to remember. She is an absolute credit to your organisation. Please pass on our heart-felt thanks to her

The staff are excellent-welcoming and friendly. The rooms are comfortable but a bit tired; the seats on the lavatories of both rooms we stayed in were very loose, and the hook on the bathroom door of one hanging by one (loose) screw (which presumably is why we didn't get the promised robes)and the curtains need cleaning. The breakfast was rather pre-packaged, with weak coffee and tasteless fruit salad; surprising for a hotel run by Searcy's. But the hotel is well-located, and good value for money.

This would be more fun during a warmer month than March in London with some slight snow, as the garden was not used. Not suited for large suitcases. Breakfast service in room only, and nice. Reseption and staff very friendly and attentive.
