This four star standard hotel is situated in one of the most amazing locations in London - five minute walk from the bustling and vibrant Oxford Circus and Oxford Street, one of the great shopping streets of the world. It is a 15 minute walk to Piccadilly Circus, Bond Street and Marble Arch; 20 minutes to Soho and Covent Garden. In fact the hotel is so central that virtually all the tourist attractions and major Railway Stations are a maximum 25 minute cab ride. The Saint Georges is situated beside the 250 year old All Souls Church from which is broadcast the worlds longest running radio transmission the world service Sunday Morning service. The BBC Broadcasting House is also very close. The hotel has the best views of any hotel in London - all rooms have this amazing view and are air conditioned with en suite bathrooms. Each room also has free unlimited internet access and free movies. The Heights Bar and Restaurant on the top floor with its panoramic views is just the place to relax and see all the sights of London including the amazing sunsets. The hotel is relatively small and therefore very personal and friendly and the staff are very helpful. Security is also very good indeed.

Great location Perhaps not quite what I would expect as a 4 star central London hotel, but more than made up for by the location. Easy walking distance to the main shopping areas of Oxford Street and Regent Street, and 2 minutes from Oxford Circus tube. (that kept 'she who must be obeyed' more than happy!). Superb views from the 15th floor bar/restaurant. We will certainly look at the Saint Georges again the next time we visit the big city.

we have stayed in this hotel before and it is nice. Very convienent as we work for the BBC and the offices are very close.

My overall stay in St Georges was very good. The hotel was very clean well equipped. It has very good facilities in the rooms, all very clean and well kept. Only one point check what is included in the price. i.e. Breakfast

Not impressed When booking this hotel I thought a four star hotel would be a luxury, however I couldn't help being slightly disappointed. It was clean and in an excellent location but I would not have classed it as four star. Very basic, staff not very friendly but it is in a good location for shopping.

stay was ok room adequate for our needs however retaurant prices were very expensive and they offered a limited choice staff were at times not very helpful and had a limited knowledge
