if you need a hotel in a very good location, if you dont want to spend a lot of money,if you expect the bacic ,if you don't expect a new luxury hotel with new carpets and new parerwalls, it's ok .

The overall stay was enjoyable in the hotel. The rooms are diffently small but adquate. The linens were clean and there was plenty of hot water. As for the staff, the only friendly one was the older gentlemen. He always had a smile and a great attitude.

Whole place needs an upgrade - faded, poor quality rooms, decor, furniture, shower. All bordering on the seedy. Would not like to stay there again.

Baisc, clean, accommodation but if you're fussy about decor this is not the hotel for you. Have stayed here 3 times and have no complaints. 5 minutes walk from Paddington Station and excellent pubs and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff

The main plus point for this hotel is the superb location. Otherwise it is just a run of the mill budget hotel. Not sparkling clean, but not exactly dirty. Quite good breakfast, reasonably comfortable bed. Worse thing was the bathroom. Tiny, impossible to move in it despite both myself and my husband being slim, and the water pressure only allowed a trickle of water from the shower.

Shabby hotel is not worthy despite good location Although the reception staff is friendly and helpful and the location two blocks away from Paddington Station is great, this budget hotel is probably one of London’s funkiest. It can only be recommended for backpackers or desperate travelers who cannot find other lodging. My room had broken window frames that would not close or open properly, cracked window glass, dirty floors, bathtub mildew, unplugged lamps that did not work, no TV remote control, and a tiny bathroom basin. Breakfast was basic and mediocre: white bread toast, fried eggs, sugared orange juice and watered coffee. For the amount I paid, there are better places in London. If not, for a few pounds more you can do much, much better. This hotel should not be confused the Court Rose in Marble Arch, a four-star hotel. Traveler's tip on local attractions If you want to tour Houses of Parliament, buy the ticket in advance and do the 9:15 AM or 9:30 AM tours to avoid crowds. Also, check the magnificent Banqueting Hall (the cheapest admission ticket in London) with ceilings painted by Rubens at the nearby Whitehall complex.

I can not read the two questions above. The person who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. I was very grateful for the elevator as I had twisted my knee and stairs were difficult for me. It was also helpful for the luggage. The room was clean and tidy. The mattresses were a bit hard for my liking. The breakfast could be improved by simply offering a variety of the way the egg was prepared. Scrambled eggs are actually easier than fried but we were denied the option. Overall it was a pleasant stay and very convenient to Paddington Station.

    - Cleanliness was very very poor, dirty room, dirty bathroom

The hotel was exactly what I expected; good location, decent and clean accomodations, and friendly service at a reasonable price. I think the room could have looked a little nicer with just a little effort(pictures hanging at haphazard angles and the T.V. sitting on a smelly and broken mini-fridge instead of a table) but overall just fine. The shower and toilet was a bit unreliable so really my only complaint was the plumbing.
