This is a great hotel! I definitely recommend it. This was our first time in London and the owner of the hotel was very polite and very welcoming. It was only 2 blocks from the underground subway, and only one stop away from Soho and many other things.

family of three, travelling as tourists. excellent location, very friendly and helpfull staff, very good breakfast without waiting time. Three stars are correct, good standard in that. the room itself was small, almost no place for three suitcases. the bathroom had about the spaciousness of one in a rv. You had to suck your stomach in to enter it. It was clean, but I didn`t like to look at the "wet-air-ventilator" at the ceiling. Unfortunately I forgot to tell the staff myself that the windows should be cleaned quickly. Nevertheless we recommend Regency House and would come again any time.

Excellent location for either walking or to the Underground. Several good restaurants and internet cafes nearby. Room is nice and spacious only wish the bathroom was a little bigger. Noise from the street below was a little much for me, my husband was not bothered. Walls were a little thin, had to ask neighbors to keep it down. They offer a hearty breakfast, which you will need for a day of wondering through the city.

Loved this hotel. It was our first trip to England and I had heard stories of the unimaginably small rooms in Europe. Not so here. The room was adequate size, very clean. The staff was helpful and gracious. The English breakfast every morning was essential to start out the day. Great location, but I would ask for a room at the back, not facing Gower Street, if you need complete quiet to sleep. I would reccomend this hotel without hesitation, especially for first time visitors who may be overwhelmed with the choices and want to operate within a modest budget.

It was very central but still in a rather calm area. We went with our family and that was perfect but I would choose this hotel if I travelled alone too. I recomend this hotel both to familys and others. Great breakfast too!

This hotel has the best location in London if you want to live near West End (Theatre-Land) and Soho. Small rooms and tiny bathrooms like most hotels in London offer. Relatively clean rooms, but be sure to book a room with private bathroom! Surroundings are noisy, so remember to bring ear-plugs if you want to sleep well. I've stayed here 3 times, and because of the brilliant location I plan to stay here again.

Definitely worth a gander, if you want to see the sights in London. No long commute and the price is great

This is a reasonably priced & well located hotel. OK the rooms are on the small side - especially the bathroom and there isn't a reception as such. For a 2 night stay it was just what we needed - convenient to the sights, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were generous & we found the staff most accomodating & helpful. They were very happy for us to store our luggage for hours on our last day. In short, a good value hotel for independent travellers not looking to be pampered.

The family who runs the hotel is very nice. The room was a bit too small and Bath needs modernisation. Location is quite good. In general we find it ok.

This was expensive (88 pounds) but reasonable value for money in central London. Very small room. Great location and good security.
