This is a good place to stay for a few days if you want to enjoy the food, nightlife and museums of London. It is very close to some very busy areas but it remains fairly quiet. You can cover many places of interest on foot. It is a good place if like me you prefer to avoid big hotels but like a small degree of formality.

I found the system of booking pefectly effective. I received as much information as I needed and would certainly use the system again.

I stayed here twice during the summer, and found it to be perfectly decent. Some of the rooms are quite small, but others are larger, and beds are comfortable, and the decor is classic and well done. As London hotels go it's also fairly reasonably priced, and in an excellent location, near Tottenham Court Road and Oxford St, around the corner from Charlotte St with its many good restaurants. The staff is a bit hit-and-miss, sometimes not so helpful, although again, some of the staff were very helpful. All in all, for a modestly sized hotel it's quite comfortable and worth a try.

The good - Centrally located 5 minute walk to Googe St station and Oxford St and 15 minutes walk to Leister Sq. Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff with good continental breakfast. Great restaurants surround hotel and many with 10% off for hotel guests. Busy street Mon-Fri. The Bad - An old hotel with small rooms and a musty smell on some corridors and in room (302). Rooms over looking Charlotte St get a lot of early morning noise (garbage removal trucks etc) Would stay again because of location and price buy not if all rooms have musty smell.

+ The room was very comfortable, and quiet. The staff were very helpful and courteous. There was just a short walk to Oxford Street, and "The Tube." A very enjoyable stay.

+ Convenient location, nice room - Some of the staff were not very helpful - 3 hours advance was not enough to book a taxi for me and I was not informed earlier about this, so I was late for my meeting!!!

Good hotel in Mayfair / Regent Park -- Central London Area Needed to be in London for a business meeting and to find a hotel within my budget that would be suitable and not too far away. After looking at various hotels and their reviews on Expedia I chose this one. I was not disappointed and had a good experience. The hotel is on a back street and is welcoming and quiet with comfortable beds. It is well managed and in a pleasant area (Regent Park /Mayfair), with restaurants, pubs and shops in vicinity and close to public transportation. The people staffing the front desk are helpful and energetic. I would stay there again and recommend to others.
