Under Renovation This is a comfortable hotel conveniently located for access to museums, theater and opera. However, the hotel is undergoing renovation and the sound of workmen drilling in the morning somewhat diminishes its charm.

Once moved to a brand new room on our 2nd night, the room was fantastic and beautiful. We were the first guests to ever use the room. The staff is very friendly and the location is perfect for business and pleasure trips. The hotel is under a major renovation, which was not mentioned on your site when we booked the reservation. When we checked in for our 4 day stay, we were given one of the old rooms that had not been renovated no airconditioning, very old uncomfortable bed, very noisey due to old style windows. We asked to be moved and were sent to a brand new room on the 7th floor. Elevator did not go to the 7th floor yet, so had to walk up stairs from the 6th floor. Chose hotel for the advertised free WiFi, since I was on business. WiFi was not working so had to use a sister hotel's connection across the street. Not convenient.
