Very Clean and Pleasant Place October 2007 - I had to be close to the Heathrow Express/Paddington train and metro stations. This hotel located at 5 minutes walking from Paddington station was extremely clean. In my room + bathroom all looked new like if they had opened the hotel few weeks ago. My room + bathroom were very modern, functional and nicely decorated. My room had a flat screen TV, new bed and contemporary bathroom appliances. The room was small (as it is always the case in London) but larger than many other hotels where I stayed in London. Although the hotel web site claims they provide dialup Internet access, in reality they offer in room DSL free of charge. Hotel employees were polite, nice and helpful. There are many restaurants and two metro accesses at 5 minutes from the hotel. A very pleasant place I definitely recommend (not for business meetings). Traveler's tip on dining If you look for a pizza ask the reception for "ASK" restaurant (at less than 2 blocks). Many Indian restaurant around the hotel. If you want trying Libanese and other Northern African restaurants make a right when you exit the hotel, walk about 3 block until you reach a large street with any kind of Northern African shops. Make a righ on this avenue.

very close to train i’m a bit of a clean freak and this hotel hit it right on the nose. the walls, floor, basebords, bathroom, everthing was very clean i didn’t have the breakfast (to cheesy). the location is righ on the mark, and there’s a grocery store 3 blocks up the street(turn rt out of the hotel). Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay don’t stay in the basement the doors are too many slamming doors. i stay here first on the 2nd floor than on in the basement.

Decent for the price Very close to Paddington station and easy to get to Heathrow. Decent room, window opened to the street but wasn’t too loud. A/C worked well. Checked out too early to enjoy the free breakfast. The lift was out of order so had to lug bags to second floor.

+ Excellent attitude of all staff, the cleanliness of all areas, the prompt service at breakfast, efficient check-in/out service - En-suite very small, stairs to 4th floor steep, lift unreliable

My First Trip to Europe This was my first stop on my first trip out of the US and to Europe. It was the perfect respite after many hours of traveling. My room was small, cozy wonderful. Impeccably clean, modern and comfortable. The location was very convenient and just a short walk from Paddington Station. The desk clerks were friendly and very helpful at suggesting a wonderful Indian restaurant nearby. I would go back again, should I ever have the opportunity.
