Not Great! Room too small. Service Poor.

Great location for London hotel Great location next to Paddington Station and 4 Tube stops. We booked a King size bed because we had read that the regular rooms were small. The room was no smaller than other rooms we have stayed at in London,and the room and bathroom were spotless. A flat screen TV is on the wall opposite the bed. Staff weas very helpful. + Staff very friendly, the room was plenty large enough for comfort and very clean, nice sheets and the beds very comfortable. Bathroom was excellent, loved the shower, again very clean. Lots of little touches to details made stay very enjoyable. You hear

A great place if you don’t need a large room. The standard room is VERY small - but clean. If possible get a room away from the busy street. The hotel is only a minute walking distance from Paddington station with connection to Heathrow, and a minute from the Underground which will take you all over the city. Everything in London is expensive seen with American eyes. Do your own laundry down the street, but it will cost you $14 for a load of wash. Traveler's tip on dining We learned that the food in the pubs were better and cheaper than the restaurants close to Paddington station. Ask for direction to Victoria Pub four minutes walking distance from the hotel. Churchill used to live in the neighboorhood - within staggering distance according to the pub personnel.
