+The staff was suberb. Irina at the front desk was exceptional. -The suites can be very loud as there are hard wood floors in the living dinig areas and divider doors between rooms that allow noise to travel under. We ask to be moved froma room next to a family with kids and were well taken care of.

+I did like the complimentary promotional products. -I changed the room when I checked in So that my nephews would have a seperate room. The room (450) had cigerette burns in the carpet and smelt of smoke especially the curtains- I am not a smoker.

Let's face it: London is VERY expensive. This said, the hotel was modern/chic and quite nice. Room was upgraded and to a mini suite and we found the staff helpful. My wife did not like the airshaft view, but the riverview would have cost double. After searching the net, I am satisfied I got a fair price. I would recommend it if you wanted to be near central London. 10 minute walk to the tube, however.

Great place to stay We enjoyed our stay - the kitchenette was a great way to save a little money by cooking most of our own meals. Has the basics, and you have to have to be a little flexible with what/how you cook. Well maintained and up-to-date facilities. Traveler's tip on recreational activities Enjoyed the hop-on, hop-off Big Bus tour, especiallay with an ex-Pat from the US named Patsy. Plan on a good half-day if you go to the Tower of London. Use a day pass for the tube if there is only a couple of travelers in your group to get around London.
