Not very good, at to wait 20 minutes for the room to be cleaned and this was at 5pm! The room was fronting a very busy and noisy road, the room was very hot, however, the staff did try to help by giving us their office fan.

Like all London hotels, the rooms are small, but you can live with that. Finsbury Park is a nice old Victorian, terraced London area. The tube puts you in touch with everything in the city, and this hotel is just about the closest to the station in this area. Plenty of shops and facilities. The pubs close by are not so good, but worth a ten-minute walk up Stroud Road to find some fine establishments. Very close to Highbury, ideal for getting to a Gunners match. Good value for money.

The room was quite adequate and clean. Nice cotton sheets! However breakfast was in a diferent building and only white toast was available. Perhaps I was too early, I was the only one in the breakfast restaurant! The corridors and reception area were very shabby, but I did choose this because it was cheap. It would have been nice if reception had taken notice of my complaint about the en-suite. It was very smelly.

Someone booked this hotel for me out of convenience. I guessed that for '48 per night in London the hotel wouldn't be sparkling. If I was you and wanted to maintain some credibility I'd wipe the hotel from your list of places to stay in London. London is over priced, we all know that, and value for money accommodation is hard to find. I would normally pay '150 per night in London, this is the last time I'll go cheap.

+ For a basic hotel it was clean. The room was cleaned each day. - Breakfast was too basic. Having to walk across the car park to the breakfast room was not good. Thankfully it was not raining whilst I was there.

My main request when making my booking was to have a NON SMOKING room but when I arrived the only room available was a smoking room. Even with the window open the room stank and it completely ruined my nights sleep.

The hotel was adequate but overall of a lower standard. Dirty duvet cover and generally grubby in appearance, especially as the website stated it had been recently refurbished.

When trying to find the hotel I sepnt 10mins trying to phone them without any answer. The price certainly reflects what to expect and I've never been in a bathroom that small, well I use the word 'in' loosley as there was not enough room to have a wash at the sink and close the door
