Basic but very close to Hyde Park Stayed there in July 2008 for the O2 wireless festival at Hyde park. Very close to Hyde Park, Lancaster tube and Paddington station. Booked a double for my boyfriend and i and 2 singles for friends . The 2 friends got there before us so seem to be allocated any of the rooms, thus they had a double each and we got 2 singles-a twin room-not what was expected. Very small room and bathroom but quiet. Breakfast-no cereal but basic full English! Smiley but not very reception staff. Free parking very useful outside for weekend.

OK for a budget visit Room was comfortable enough but the en-suite shower room and toilet was very small and in need of refurbishment. Could have done with tea/coffee making facilities in room. Staff friendly enough and breakfast nice. Room was noisy at night with traffic noises. Hotel well located though - easy walk to Paddington station for underground access.

I don't understand how this can be a 3 star hotel. The room was much to small to room the facilities described, and the beds were horrible. The location is good and the staff was friendly, but I would not recommend their taxi service. The price was said to be 20 pounds. When I was leaving, the reception clerk wanted me to pay 25. The driver of the car was told 17.

Expensive for the service provided The room was cramped with no tea making facitites and the shower was tiny, my husband found great difficulty having a shower as he is 6 feet tall The food was poor, the menu had very little choice, there was no cereal offered, white toast only a healthy it was not!

Smelly, stuffy, claustrophobic....horrible. We had booked this Hotel before going, but after arriving and seeing the room, we left and checked in elsewhere. The room was small and although smelled like bleach, felt dirty. Giant "quick kill" bug traps on the floor of the room made us wonder about the kitchen (breakfast was included in the price of the room)and its cleanliness. No toiletries in bathroom and no escalator. No one even helped us carry our bags up 8 flights. We did not spend one night in this hotel.

Clean and comfortable The Pacific Hotel is conveniently located in the Paddington area. The underground and bus stops are literally right around the corner from the hotel. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable. Each morning the dining room served a full "English breakfast" which was more than substantial. The staff was friendly and helpful. Traveler's tip on shopping Oxford Street,Marble Arch,Hyde Park, and Picadilly Circus are all within proximetry of Paddington where the Pacific Hotel is located.
