Nice 4 star hotel near Euston/Kings Cross I have stayed about 3-4 times now and I find it very good value for money for a hotel of this kind. Its quite new and with nice contemporary architecture, good sized rooms as well.

Nice new hotel conveniently located for travellers coming in by Eurostar Like almost everywhere the rooms are very warm, the ventilators/climatisation a kind of noisy and not very efficient.

Staff relatibely unfriendly and only as helful as the specific question asked. Expensive for its type and location there are several other hotels in the same area with service as good or better and better value. We will not be staying there again.

We made our flight and hotel reservations via e-mail using a well known travel booking site. We booked three nights at the Novotel London St. Pancras. Due to unforeseen family events we had to cancel and reschedule our flight and hotel reservations. NOVOTEL was not only unwilling to refund our never used hotel reservation, they were uncooperative in considering issuing a credit or voucher transfer to another NOVOTEL hotel. This is unheard of in the world of travel/hotel business. We are frustrated and feel helpless. Just want to warn everybody :Stay away from Novotel !

Not sure why but many hotels were fully booked in London this week, so I finally had to settle for the Novotel Euston outside King's Cross and St Pancras...not the best location! But hey, I had no choice. When I got there, the receptionist from Japan did not speak to clearly and I was tired, so I just got my room card and took the lift up to...the 16th floor, my god, I was on the top floor! As soon as I entered the room I was amazed by the view in the bedroom, overlooking the whole of London. Then I opened a door, and a whole flat was there with dining room, huge lounge and sofa, another TV, a bar, and a desk. 1 bathroom and 3 toilets, so I grabbed the phone and called reception. -"Hem, it seems there is a mistake, this is awfully big room, I did not ask for this, can you confirm the price please?" - "Hi Sir, you got upgraded as the normal rooms were all booked" This was a good suprise! I did decide to test room service. I ordered stuffed vine tomatoes with mozarella and salmon fishcakes...with icecubes and tabasco. 30 mins later, I got it all but no tabasco, just a homemade spicy sauce. I proceeded to eat my starter, ouch! That was not what I ordered, just sliced tomatoes with red onions. I called room service again, and explained that this is not what I had ordered, so they apologised and resent straight away my starter. In the meantime I ate my tomatoes, so when the proper dish arrived, the waiter asked for the wrong one. When I told him I was hungry and that I had eaten them, he said it was alright. The main dish was delicious, it was Salmon fishcakes on a bed of sautéed spinach with vanilla and rosemary cream sauce, great combination! I told the waiter to congratulate the chef. Pleasant evening with a lovely sunset over London. The next day, I decided to test their speed for check out. I called them before going down the 16 floors and asked them to prepare the invoice. Once I had gone down the 16 floors, the invoice was ready, but the chinese trainee receptionist managed to break the credit card billing machine and had to ask for help. As I was telling them I was going to miss my train if they did not hurry, they told me that they were going to send me the receipt, but the address was not even correct. I remarked and they apologised... Apart from the checking out episode, which was a bit amateurish, the place and the services were excellent.

My girlfriend & I stayed a weekend and were upgraded to an "executive" king size room for 160 pounds. The room was immaculately clean and modern. All the staff from housekeeping to concierge were friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel's location is in a lively bustling area close to four tube stations and restaurants. I would recommend to anyone.

Great value! Definitely the nicest hotel I've ever had in London. Bigger than most London rooms, and very modern as well. Also very convenient, next to British Library and just two blocks from the St. Pancras/Kings Cross tube stop. The location is the only thing holding it back; being that Kings Cross isn't really your stop for anything other than connecting to other lines and the Eurorail. Although if you are into British rock music, The Scala and Mondo Water Rats are within walking distance and all the Camden clubs just a few stops away. That said all major sights are very close by either bus or tube. But there is a Starbucks, a pub and Pizza Express right across the street. Bed was very comfortable as well.

Hotel was clean. Lobby was small. No pool. It really seemed to be a 3* hotel rather than a 4*. But it was clean.

Hotel lobby nice. Room ok but communicating rooms give no privacy, bed extremely short for average person; TV system offers fewer channels than Moscow under communist dictatorship and screen too small and too far away from bed.
