We walked from London Bridge station - possibly slightly better directions for anyone walking.

Found Hotel very accessible from London Bridge Tube Station. On arriving at hotel early there was no problem with leaving cases until later for checking in. Checking was very easy we just handed across our letter as we had booked a Theater deal and we got allocated our room promptly. The idea of swiping your card to enter the lift was very good security wise and also so much easier to carry around with you rather than some keys you get. Hotel staff were very friendly at all times. The hotel itself was very clean and the room which was on the sixth floor was excellent size wise with a lovely comfortable bed & a super powerful shower & a nice deep bath. I also liked the idea of the toilet being separate to the actual bath & shower. The breakfast was lovely with a very large choice and you could eat as much as you like! Overall an excellent hotel and I would not hesitate to use it again.

Overall the Hotel was ideal for the purposes of a weekend in London, particularly as the event I was due to attend was in Southwark. Also good access for Tate Modern, The Globe, and the London Eye, although I didn't visit them on this trip. Easy for the Tube, and some good quality restaurants that have appeared in the last year or so on the South Bank. I would certainly consider using it again as a base for visiting London from Sheffield.( The only hassle was having to wait until after 6.30p.m. on Friday to check in, in order to avoid the Congestion charge !!)

Novotel was definitely one of the nicest hotels I stayed in in Europe and the price they gave me was fantastic. The rooms are very modern and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and were willing to help me with anything I needed. I would stay there again if I returned to London.
