New England Hotel - London, Victoria

The hotel was easy to find, although I actually found it to be closer to Pimlico underground than Victoria.The size of our hotel room was fine for a short break although I would have felt cramped if we had had to spend any time in it other than sleeping! If I was to travel again I would try to find much cheaper accommodation, ie a bed and breakfast as I imagine it would have been of a similar size as our hotel, although it was very easy to come and go at whatever time we pleased. The staff we met were very friendly.

The hotel lived up to description in recent travel publication. Twin room was cramped although furnishings were clean, new and tasteful. En suite facilities were cramped but clean and modern. Breakfast facilities were clean and bright and service was efficient. Key entry system to hotel and room was state-of-the art, providing feelings of safety and security.

- First Impression as you walked in was very poor, it got even worse when entering bedroom, net curtains were dirty, sheets & towels were clean, but the bedspread & curtains could do with sprucing up, when reading the description of Hotel it said newly re

+ The hotel was perfectly adequate, very well located, run by nice helpful people, and for London the price was nice. We enjoyed our stay there and we will recommend the place to anyone looking for an affordable hotel in London. Frommers was spot-on.
