The hotel was quite nice. For this price in Hungary you can get a four stars hotel, but in London, in august you can hardly get a cheaper one. It was really clean, the emlpoyees were Russian mostly so they didn't speak english that good. The location - Belgrave roead (where there are at least 40 other hotels) is a long street. The hotel is at the south end so the nearest subway station is Pimlico station (Victoria line).

Room on small side but still quite adequate; did not have an American style shower although bathroom was spacious. Because our room was on the very ground floor we could hear other guests in their rooms up above. This is just information and not a complaint about the Melbourne. We liked our stay in general.

The hotel is in good position not far away from Pimlico tube station. Breakfast abundant enough. Room was very small, hardly place for one suitcase. Diners card not accepted although listed under Payment - we accept. As without any other card, asked to pay in advance for each night (3 nights in total). Allegedly an e-mail was sent before our arrival saying the Diners card is not accepted, but it was never received.

The hotel is very clean, like I red in the other feedback. For us is a little overprized. The employees are very friendly and effective.

ENGLISH We arrived at 7pm, our room was in the basement floor and heating not turned on! (6th of March) They turned it on and we lept into the shower, but when we came out the heating was off again and it was cold! We complained but they were sarcastic and rude to my wife. The bathroom had only two small towels and no soap and shampoo! There are no decent waiting rooms in the hotel. just a bare room with two sofas. No magazines, table, curtains, music. In the morning the heaing was off again. breakfast was quite poor. We complained, firmly but in an educated way, and the owner of the hotel told us we'd offended him, and what should we excpect for 95 pounds! We left and went in a hotel only 200 mt from this one. It was cheaper (75 pounds), they were welcoming, the bedrooms were warm. I wouyldn't reccomend this hotel to anybody.

+ The hotel is small, clean and cosy and in an area that is close to most attractions but still in a quite zone.
