The staff was incredibly friendly and we were able to check in early (before 4pm) Although apparently the hotel's computers were down while we were there. Therefore giving us a room that was already occupied.Quickly resolved by the staff though. The next night coming back to the room our keys were deactivated..again resolved quickly. Even though a bit outside of central London tube station is about a block walking distance as well as a great shopping area with more reasonable prices than say..Carnaby Street. The night buses were a bit trickier getting back. But overall a beautiful clean hotel. Great breakfast too.

Comfortable, but distant Use the tube. If you have to take a taxi from here to ANYWHERE, it will cost you a fortune.

Room stank of smoke We had a non-smoking room, yet someone had obviously had a sneaky cigarette. After complaining the hotel staffed sprayed the room with air freshener, but said they couldn't move us to a new room.

A very good standard Good 4 star quality, particularily impressed with the room - huge bed, good decor, comfortable armchair, fridge not minibar! Not exactly central but good value for money in a very expensive London.

Residential Feel Great location were Kilburn & Maida Vale meet. Less than half a block to Tube buses and less than 1/2 mile stroll to Tube underground. Food was good in both the dinning room and the cafe. Kilburn is a collection of small stores and pubs Maida Vale is mostly residential. Within walking distance to Abbey Road Studios for Beatle fans Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay Close enough to central London so you do not miss a beat and located in a residential area so you do not feel like you are in the city

I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and the rooms were so comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was good and the location was quiet and yet very accessible - close to stations and there was never a wait for a taxi. All in all, just lovely.
