Nice indoor pool, excellent location (accross from Sainsbury's) and lots of restaurants down the street. Easy walk to the underground and easy to navigate to anywhere in London. Rooms were a bit small by American standards, but would definitely go back!

Comfortrable, friendly, and convenient The hotel was scaled more like a London boutique than a typical Marriott, with narrow hallways and doors. But the room was large enough to hold two large beds, an easy chair and lamp, and desk without feeling at all cramped. Only complaint would be that full-wall draperies opened to reveal very small windows - not much of a view. But I was only there overnight, and the view would have been of the supermarket across the street.

I have stayed at this hotel on and off the last 3 years and its excellent. The price is high but the service is excellent and its the usual Marriot beds and such, which are really nice to crash into after a hard days work.

Great Value - Great Hotel We received a very reasonable rate with a pre-paid deal we found on Expedia. Since it is located in the western part of the city, you will usually be the first dropped off and the last picked up if you take a shuttle from and to Heathrow. That saves a lot of time by not having to go through the congested heart of the city. There is a Sainsbury’s supermarket directly across the street. Since a full breakfast in the hotel is every expensive, you might want to stock up on some snacks for breakfast. We had breakfast in the hotel one day and even though costly it was exceptionally good, was very plentiful and held you almost to dinner. It is a short walk to the Gloucester Road tube station which is at a junction of three subway lines. You can get to anywhere in the city easily from there. The room was bigger than most in London and was beautifully appointed. There were 15 or so channels on the TV - not just snow and cheese like at some hotels. The pillows and the bed were what you’d expect from a Marriott - exceptionally comfortable. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks In winter the on/off tourist open top bus passes are good for two days. You can use them to get around the city since there are multiple stops, multiple routes and many places where the routes intersect. You can save a lot of money over the cost of a taxi and get to see the city which you will not do on the tubes.

For the amount I paid this hotel was a good value but I would have been very disappointed if I had paid anything more. Staff was not trained well and was generally not very friendly.

Great Bargain! We chose this hotel because we like the Marriott chain because of their customer service and this was no exception. Our room was clean, the staff was friendly, and we enjoyed every moment there. It was a little far from most big sights but the tube station is about a 5 minute walk away so it is easy to get around. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The only negative thing I can say is that breakfast was not included and can be pricey to get on your own. Stay here for a great bargain!

On our trip to Europe last summer, this was our favorite hotel. We were spoiled by the hotel staff, the room was luxurious, the bath very modern, and the included breakfast with our "Executive" room was superb. If we ever go back to London, this is where we will stay. Just 3 blocks from the tube station made this hotel was very convenient to the usual tourist stops. Nice King size bed, too!

They made everything easy Dependable staff, comfortable surroundings, well-run executive suite, nice workout facility and pool, and superb location! Staying here added to our perfect London vacation. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks Traveling London by Tube is too easy and so economical.
