Perfect location, 5 block walk to Bond Street tube station...3 blocks to Oxford Street shopping & other transportation. Plenty of eating options nearby. Very helpful staff. Fairly expensive, but worth it. Standard rooms are a bit tight, but upgrade to Executive room with sitting area doubles the space, and definitely worth the extra expense if you are here for more than 1-2 days, especially with family.

Just remember that in England you can no longer take children under 16 (I think) into pubs, even if its just for lunch. This is a problem in London since they enforce the rule (we actually enjoy english pub food, it really is quite good and not too expensive). The rules aren't really enforced in the countryside though, which makes it easier as there aren't MacDonalds or chain restaurants on ever corner in rural England!

This hotel has consistently provided spacious, comfortable rooms. The location is very convenient to Picadilly Sq. Buckingham Palace, M&S, as well as the tube. We have returned several times and are always greeted warmly as returning guests.

The hotel had an agreement with a nearby gym in the heart of SoHo. The gym was in a low-rise building and the equipment spread out on 4 floors. It had adequate number of cardio equipment, and just enough free weight and strength training equipment for a decent workout. The cost, if I recall correctly, was £9 – a little steep but what in downtown London isn’t? If one is so inclined and is properly equipped with a rain shell, one can most certainly run/jog through the narrow streets around the hotel.

Loved the location and service. But, my room was extremely small - even by Europe standards. I'm not sure if the size differs by floor or room location but be sure to check...

Excellent stay The hotel had access to BTzone wifi which is far less expensive than the hotel's own service - a good thing given the dollar's lack of purchasing power

This place is terrific, but be sure to request bed type and smoking preference. I neglected to do so and was stuck with a tiny, tiny, tiny smoking room with a courtyard view. It would have barely been adequate for one person, but there was no way two people with luggage could fit in this room. One always had to sit on the bed for the other to move around. The bathroom was nice, but again, so small two people couldn't even walk into it at the same time. Room service prices were outrageous, but with this location, coffee and meals were mere steps away. I'd stay here again without a doubt if given a bigger room.
