I picked this hotel because it has a large heated pool - great place to end the day -- But wait - kids not allowed after 7:00pm. The main reason I paid extra for this hotel (other than good location) was the pool - but my family was not allowed to use the pool; it seems the local club members do not want kids. If no kids and stuffy front desk service appeal to you; than this may be your place.

Located across from Big Ben in a historic building, this hotel felt dark and confining. Rooms are as far from the elevator as 1/8 mile of long circuitous corridors. View windows on the Thames were so high one could not fully enjoy the scene. The concierge was often engaged in conversation with other hotel employees and the night concierge was of no help at all. Reception personnel were helpful but somewhat snooty. Our final bill was all wrong, with charges we didn't make and the charges we did make were not on it. Construction made it necessary to enter through a back way that was dark, dreary and, frankly, scary. I would not stay there again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

The Marriott County Hall is located right in the heart of London on the Thames. It is walking distance to Big Ben, Parliament, the Millennium Wheel as well as being right by the long Aquarium. It is a short walk to both the London Under ground, shopping an dining. The rooms are quite large when compared to several of the other hotels located in and around London. The staff was very courteous and accommodating to both late and early check in.

What a treat The hotel was in a great location, the room was great, the staff were all delightful. The food in the hotel was lovely, but pricey - try to get breakfast included if possible. I asked for allergy free pillows which were a bit hard!!

One of the best parts about the hotel is the late night bar. Since pubs in England close at 11pm, the bar -- open to residents until 2am -- is a great place to wind down after a big day.

Wonderful place to stay away from home! We`absolutely loved the hotel. It was convenient to the tube and bus transportation. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were quite helpful. Our requests before the trip were all made. We also asked for a view when we arrived and they accommodated our wish. We only had a problem one morning with the fire alarm going off. They let us know quickly there was no reason to evacuate, the cause came from the kitchen. The same morning there was no hot water for showers. I do believe this was not common and all was handled professionally. We would definately return to this hotel

This hotel was wonderful. The rooms were actually spacious and the pool was nice. We have had issues with some of the other hotels in London, but this hotel is a must. When we go back, it will be to here. I can't say enough about the concierge...

My wife and I stayed here for two weeks five years ago and it was great! The location cannot be beat. The London Eye is right outside the door and there is one of the largest aquariums in in all of Europe in the basement.
