The London Elizabeth has something that is lacking in so many hotels these days:character.

Hotel is warm and cosy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Less than 10 min walk to Paddington Station. Great location for catching the Heathrow express in the morning. 2 min walk to Lancaster Gate underground station. 15 min walk to Marble Arch & Oxfo

October stay I had a lovely time there. Customer service with front desk was not what I am used to in the US, but it satisfactory. The room had a lot of wear and tear that I think could have been taken care of, but it was honestly quite cozy and warm once I got past that. The room was larger than I expected, and it was clean. I thought it was a bit costly, but this was my first time in London and have nothing to compare it to. Overall, I think it was a nice location and a nice place to stay once you get past some of the negative aspects.

It is right near the tube station, and bus lines. Shower was hard to get right. Friendly staff. Food is pretty good, but they ran out of too many dinner selections.

Bayswater's little gem This hotel is well situated and adjacent Lancaster Gate tube stop. From reception through to room service, all my needs were immediately taken care of. The room was small, as is the same for many hotels in the area. But quite comfortable. The staff were courteous and very willing to please. I will be staying there again. And again

The deluxe room we had was very nice although noise came through the door from the hallway. The lift is very very tiny, one suitcase one person. The staff were friendly, nice & helpful and the breakfast adequate.

My room was located at the dark basement floor. Hallway was under repair, so the first impression was "Oh no!". However I became felt better as I got used to it. The room was spacious and clean though it is old. It was uneasy to open curtain and window because the parking site is just outside of the window and the ground is at that level.

The hotel was in an excellent location, only 30 second walk from the Lancaster Gate tube stop, and right on the edge of Hyde Park. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant which was also really good value. The room was larger than normal and nicely decorated, if a little old-fashioned.
