The hotel was clean, comfortable and very warm. Breakfast was basic with little choice if you didn't want a cooked meal. Staff were helpful.

This was my second stay and unlike the previous occasion I had no major criticisms. Room was very good this time, TV operated well and had teletext (but still not the cable-TV advertised). Staff again were friendly and helpful. Will book again when in area.

The staff were all lovely, especially on reception. They were exceedingly helpful. However, there was no soap in my room and I had to request it from reception. I couldn't get ITV on the television in my room and there was no remote control, so had to turn off the TV every time that I wanted to change channels. Also, we were only given two face towels. The shower head was broken and sprayed water all over the bathroom. The breakfast was absolutely horrible. The staff couldn't speak English. There was no tea. The toast was stone cold. Advertisement said full English but we only had bacon, egg and beans. Orange juice had been watered down and there was no milk on our table.

Facilities clean and comfortable, but fairly basic. Friendly staff. Good links to central London. Has car parking. Represents excellent value for money in this location.

Several things promised were not available (see dislikes above). Greeting on arrival was good and helpful. Should have asked for a non-smoking room as there was some background smell of tobacco in room. TV had no teletext nor satellite/cable as suggested in booking details and TV reception was poor. Tea-making facilities were not provided despite request. Breakfast was OK and staff were generally friendly and helpful. Weather turned cold one night (September) but room heating did not come on. Clean towels were provided every day. Overall hotel was OK and I may well use again. Hotel handy for restaurants and pubs in Streatham for evening meals.
