Traditional hotel with very helpful staff.Rooms very clean and spacious with lovely compfy beds!.Restaurant looked a bit over the top...not sure about those Palm Trees!. Visited the spa which is nice if not a bit small.Changing rooms very oddly laid out making it very difficult to access lockers etc if there are a few people there at once.Facilities are good however, there are not enough beds for relaxing by the pool.Lunch at the Spa was nice but we had to wait over an hour to get it which meant eating very close to treatment times.Real big downside to the spa was that even though I booked 4 rooms at the hotel they still made me pay £10 to use the pool etc as I had not booked a treatment which made me feel a bit ripped off.Overall a very nice stay just a shame that they make certain extras so expensive. If you want a cuppa first thing you'll have to order from room service and pay £5! After paying so much for a room this was quite annoying.

Not worth the price Beds were terrible (hard and not comfortable), not very nice place, everyone seemed really snooty, not to mention overpriced.

Great London Venue Wonderful place to stay. We had originally been concerned that it was not quite as centrally located as some other hotels but the location turned out to be a plus. It is literally across the street from a tube station/national rail station that has a really nice coffee shop and grocery store - and just 3 or 4 tube stops from Piccadilly Circus. The hotel itself is a Victorian beauty with a skylighted central courtyard. Concierges were very helpful. Rooms thouroughly updated with marble bathrooms. Quietest hotel we have ever stayed in anywhere and the beds were exceptional. The only negative - true of hotels in general - don’t eat there. There are many much better and less expensive alternatives. The concierges were quite helpful in directing us to them. If you are looking for a high end hotel you couldn’t do much better.

Great place to stay ! We were very delighted with the Landmark Hotel! We up-graded to an executive suite room and loved it. It was huge in size and all the furnishings were top-notch (loved the down comforter). Also I must mention the service: they allowed us to check in early (after a night flight from NY) and to check out late..we were taking a mid-afternoon Euro-Star train to Paris. What a great trip! Thanks to Expedia..we booked it all through you! Traveler's tip on local attractions Regents’ Park, just a short walk from the hotel, with its beautiful English gardens was wonderful to explore..and the Queen’s Rose Garden was in bloom! Also the Landmark Hotel has a unique 7-story inner atrium..wonderful for breakfast or afternoon tea.

Wonderful room, but wach your wallet if you eat or drink there Let’s get the "oh my God" bit out of the way first. We went to the bar only once because a glass of white wine cost $24, and it wasn’t even a big glass (well that’s not quite true, the glass was big, but it was less than half full). Breakfast of 2 glasses of orange juice, one coffee, toast and Danish pastries cost almost $60. Afternoon tea comprising two teas, one cranberry juice and a plate of small cakes also cost nearly $60. It’s hard to get past that, even though the surroundings are beautiful. The building started life as the flagship London hotel of the Great Central Railway; and although the Great Central’s Marylebone terminus was one of the smallest in London, it’s hotel was one of the grandest. After all, it was built to accomodate the Victorian textile barons, ironmasters and mine owners of the industrial midlands and northern England. I particularly loved the massive staircases and stained glass windows on the station side of the hotel. We had a family room that was larger than some apartments I’ve lived in. It was beautifully furnished with two double beds, sofa and easy chairs, a desk and still enough room to dance between the TV and bay window. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks There’s a Marks and Spencers ’food only’ shop in Marylebone station where you can buy a whole bottle of wine for $12, along with snacks. There’s also plenty of places to buy breakfast on nearby Baker street and Marylebone road. Or just pop over to the Ritazza coffee shop in the station 50 yards from the hotel.
