K+K Hotel George

spent 6 nights here with two teenaged-daughters. We had a triple which was compact but comfortable. Staff was very accomodating - trying the shower for the first time it took a while for the hot water to come up - and they offered to change the room if it didn't work - but eventually was fine. No tub in room but shower was very nice. We were on the first floor (2nd floor American) with windows looking over the garden vs. Templeton street. It was very quiet & restful. Ground floor guest rooms have doors that open right onto the garden. Hotel is about a 3-minute walk to the Earl's Court Tube station - very convenient. Also within walking distance are a couple of grocery stores & a really nice Marks & Spencer store with lots of prepared foods - we moved stuff out of the minibar refrigerator and put in stuff from the store. Also there is a Wagamama & Masala Zone each within a block - and Spears Mews just off the hotel is a charming little street. All in all it was very comfortable and a very convenient location - we would definitely stay there again.
